"Over the 4 days my self-awareness has increased it. The importance of small details and high levels of nurturing reinforced the importance of empathy"

Linda Knight

Linda trained as a nurse and midwife in the 1970's. She worked for the Adult Education service in Spelthorne during the 80's and 90's, predominantly on the Family Workshop Course with parents and their children. In 1996 she became a school nurse with a special interest in parenting, her goal being that children and parents should enjoy the shared experience as the children moved through the different stages of childhood. In 2000 she became a Specialist Practitioner School Nurse. She then worked for Brunel University, and now Surrey University, as an associate tutor on the Public Health Courses. Linda has 4 children.

Linda is shown here receiving her certificate from Annette Mountford, Chief Executive and founder of the national Family Links organisation.
