For Primary Schools
The schools training is a two day inset training for the whole school staff. It offers:

• A consistent, whole school approach that encourages an optimum environment for teaching and learning.
• A greater understanding of children’s feelings and the behaviour that follows
• Effective strategies for encouraging responsible behaviour and managing challenging behaviour
• A model that enhances consistency and teamwork among staff
• A preventative emotional health programme for children.

 

 

For Secondary Schools - Year 7 and Primary School -Year 6

We can offer the newly developed Transition Programme. This acknowledges the transition as a process rather than a one-off event; it provides a 2-year programme of circle time sessions for Year 6 classes and Year 7 tutor groups to ease the emotional pressures arising from transition.Training is provided to year 7 tutors or PSHCE staff and can include year 6 teachers from your feeder schools.
